Known variously through the years as Freedom's Mill, the Paper Mill and Renton & Butterfield's Mill

This dates from about 1910 showing the front of the Mill as well as the side of Albion House (with pigsties at its rear).

This would probably be in about the 1960's and also clearly shows the path of the beck, the mill pond and the race.  Housing redevelopment, particularly Renton Close, changed much of this.
